idea: the narcissit's hat was created as a modern interpretation of a hat designed by marie antoinette which consisted of a large boat extending from the head of the wearer. Boats in this time, the time of expolarion, were one of the most prominent cultural symbols. I chose to modernize this hat by representing the most important thing today for many people: themselves. the narcissist's hat extends over two feet above the wearer's head and is wired with LED's to garner the maximum amount of attention. Perfect for the modern day narcissist.
